My name is Corrine Fletcher; I have the privilege of working at St. Peter Lutheran, as a preschool co-teacher in the morning and the school administrative assistant to the principal in the afternoon. I have my Child Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood; this credential is recognized nationally by the NAEYC. (National Association For the Education of Young Children). I have been working in the field for the past ten-plus years. I had an in-home daycare for three years, and I have been teaching at St. Peter since 2013.
My husband Russell and I live in Dewitt with our two kids, Clara and Benjamin. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my daughter run and play violin and my son play baseball and trumpet, camping, crafting/sewing, genealogy, and working on my flowerbeds. My family keeps me active, and being busy is a blessing!
I am currently a parent coalition member for the Clinton County GSRP, which works with individuals in the community to promote young children’s physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development. I am also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and taught 3,4 and 5th-grade religious formation classes. I believe that every child should have the opportunity to come to a safe, patient, and loving learning environment that creates a foundational love for education and God’s teachings.
“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us.” Ephesians 5:1-2
Blessings Always,
Corrine Fletcher
