Music Ministry

St. Peter Lutheran Church and School has a number of opportunities for people to be involved in the Music Ministry.

The school has a choir made up of 29 members. They sing in the late service once a month. Currently they are working on music for this coming Sunday and March 5th, the kickoff to Lutheran Schools’ Week. They will also be putting on a school musical at the end of April on the 27th at 1:00 p.m. and the 28th in the evening.  The musical for this coming year is The First Action Heroes. They will begin to work on the music and drama portions during the coming weeks. It should be a great show.

The Senior church choir is currently working on the music for the Lenten and Easter season.  There are about 14 members in the choir and rehearse once a week on Wednesday evening.  They are always looking for new members to join them as they sing praises to the Lord.

There is also a Praise Band that leads the congregation in worship two Sundays a month.  The music they sing is more of a contemporary style and is great to hear and sing as it touches your heart.
