Mark Werner |
Youth Director and Teacher |
Mark Werner graduated from Concordia College (now University) Ann Arbor, MI with a bachelor degree in secondary education. He holds a masters degree in Christian Youth Ministries from Huntington University, IN.

Mark taught middle school and worked with youth ministries at St. Mark’s Yonkers, NY & St. Paul Royal Oak, MI. He served as director of Christian Education at Peace Lutheran Church in Shelby Twp, MI. Mark also served as an Associate Director of Youth Ministries at St. Johns, Ellisville, MO before accepting our call as Director of Youth Ministries here at St Peter Lutheran Church in 2003. |
Mark’s other duties here include overseeing non-traditional worship. Mark and Cindy were married in 1986 and have been blessed with 7 children: Abigail, Nathan, Zachary, Leah, Joel, Elijah, & Michaela. Mark likes to spend time with his family and enjoys sports – especially baseball. |
Worship Schedule
Sunday: 8:00AM and 10:30AM
Saturday: 6:00PM
(A non-traditional worship style is offered on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month at the 10:30AM service)
