David Bremer
Principal and Teacher
Grades 6-8
I was born and raised in the Flint, Michigan area. I attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Flint and later went to Flushing High School where I graduated in 1968. After high school I attended Concordia, Ann Arbor and graduated from there in 1970. I then transferred to Concordia, River Forest and graduated in 1972. While attending Concordia River Forest I met my wife Marcia. We were married in the summer of 1972 and I started my teaching career at St. Paul Lutheran School in Troy, Illinois where I taught 3rd and 4th grade and served as youth director. In 1975 we moved to Auburn, Michigan where I served as 5th and 6th grade teacher, athletic director and youth director at Zion Lutheran School. In 1979 I took a break from teaching to pursue other interests, but returned to teaching in 1991 when St. Peter Lutheran Church called me to be Principal and teacher of grades 4-8. Currently, I am teaching grades 6-8 as well as being principal. |
Marcia and I have three grown children Rachel, Kelli, and Mike. Rachel is married and currently teaches at Luther High North in Macolm. She has blessed Marcia and I with two granddaughters, Rebecca and Meghan. Kelli is married and living in Marquette, Michigan raising our grandson Keegan. Mike is still single and working in the St. Johns area. I enjoy many outdoor type activities including camping and kayaking as well as photography. |
